Distance

Contributed by Ruby2sdy on Sunday, 27th August 2006 @ 03:10:38 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

It’s cold tonight, and raining,
With each patter upon the window, I wonder where you are,
Does some sweet lover tempt you,
Under different skies, clear and blue,
Stars studded in velvet folds,
Her body to yours, so beautifully moulds,
On a blanket of golden autumnal leaves,
Your body moving as your chest heaves,
Do you whisper her name, as soft as the wind,
Whilst catacombs echo the truth that you’ve sinned,
Or do you lie in silence, thinking only of me,
As the shore, once more, meets the sea,
The tides have been dyed an envious black,
But still I think your lover might make up for what I lack,
I’m blinded by tears, lost in a storm,
Craving your touch, to be held somewhere warm,
But not tonight sweetheart, for you’re far away,
So I’ll save my love and kisses for you, another day.

You clearly show the insecurity found at least to some degree, in all our relationships. But nice recovery! lol

I vote for this part, hope for this part and warn the dote this part:

"Or do you lie in silence, thinking only of me,
As the shore, once more, meets the sea,"

'Cause beautiful needs nuturing and reassurance. And her lover by her side!

Good work, 2
