Since the day I met you, it was the first thing I saw
When we were together it was all I knew
Always so big, always so bright, and always in awe
When it wasn't there, it affected my mood
It became necessity, obsession, and addiction
The need to see you smile has become utmost desire
A smile of myths and legends, believed only in fiction
It lights up my heart and sets my soul on fire
Always finding ways to see it, constantly on a quest
'Cause if only a glimpse, it makes my day worthwhile
So I give gifts, tell jokes, and my love is expressed
Hard to believe the things I would do just for your smile
