Awaiting my savior

These eyes confine a window for a soul
a sentiment of broken glass trapped inside
each shard etched from memorys
all so cutting when i seek to reminisce

this smile an imitation in truth it harbors burden
once moist through love now dust from sorrow
awaiting lips from an angel
beckoning for a kiss formed from heaven

that heart once a colossus rests in ruin after plunder
broken and defeated it reaches for revive
anxiously oneday patiently someday i desire
a precious savior that renews my faith for amor
