coming out parade

Contributed by maggsie on Friday, 25th August 2006 @ 09:59:41 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I don't want to be a looser
no more
I've had enough
Here i come
shakey and apprehensive
What am I gonna do?
I've had two years of nothing, not wanting to get out of my bed..
forcing myself to get in the shower when the smell got too bad..
I just wanted to go to sleep and never wake up
so selfish
i got children
they have a life even if i do not
Where do i start?
The thought of it makes me feel tired
I am my own worst enemy
I have settled for so little
I'm ready to live again

Absolutely Beautiful. The grammar was not as good but it had a brilliant message. I know exactly how you feel about this and I'm at that stage in my life as well. You need to realize that it's a lot easier to do nothing than it is to do something about the problem. But in the end you find out doing nothing made you slip further away from the solution. I'm glad you're choosing a better path, hang in there, if you need to talk my door is always open.

Love,
Karlee

An interesting write, well displayed self disgust, and yet leaving a light on at the end of the tunnel, well done, thanx for sharing :-)
