Maniquins posing as people

Contributed by MidnightPunkCat on Friday, 25th August 2006 @ 09:16:08 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I walk around
and i notice people staring at me
They stare right into my face and i know what they think
She's weird, she's different
but behind your mask your hiding from your own insecurities so you judge
one that is not like you
you judge whatever you want and no matter what you do there are
3 fingers pointing at you when you point one at me
you hate yourself, you hate your life, you hate everyone
I've seen you throw her around and i seen you feel better
as she falls to the ground she had enough
she is Face down in the dirt crying This doesnt hurt
I tried to help her but you threw me down too and you left markings on me
that only i can see but others feel it
Your just like a maniquin posing to be something your not just so you can get
what you want
But do you feel better now as you scar people
why harm one you love when all she ever did was try to set you straight
you claim you wouldnt harm her you would protect her and how you did so
much to keep her safe by throwing a guy up against a fence for her
Your just a good of an actor than you are a liar
So go on and put your hands around her neck and squeeze
Your only fooling yourself

Oh my gosh, that was a great poem! Its true too. I really liked the line 'Your just like a maniquin posing to be something your not just so you can get what you want' . Good stuff right there.

That was pretty good. I really like the last couple of lines and I really think you spoke what you wanted to say.
