Will i stand alone?

Contributed by AerandirA on Friday, 25th August 2006 @ 01:04:22 AM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Faltering faith falling onto earth as dying autumn leafs.
Cold doubts of heart.
Paths uncertain and unseen, cloaked in mists of soul.

Whíspering their ancient name in prayer for love and affirmation
So unspoken, So forgotten, so hallow.

Seeing sunrise setting skies on fire, light of day.
A Quiet cry. A quiet tear. A quiet prayer.
For strength to move on, not to give in. To give up.

Echoing winds of change raging like storms.
So deep, so shallow, leaving me behind.

A quiet cry
A quiet tear
A quiet prayer
Searching for strength to change

Oh you highest
You, the name.
You who stand with all purpose and meaning.

Who will you stand with? Shelter from pain and grief?
Will i stand beside you, or fall forgotten into the endless abyss.

That was a very discriptive poem, not to mention that it was good. I'm sorry you still feel that way, I hope you do feel better about it.

Thank you for your comment :)

I am feeling better but it's still a rough road to go when giving all ones soul to someone.

Thank you :)

There's only one word for this incredible write, masterpeice.
It's always amazing to me how when a person is in pain and puts pen to paper how beautifull it all is.
My favorite poems have come when I was stepping from the pits of hell.
Hang tuff, my friend as joy cometh in the morning.
Luv, huggs, prayers,
emy

Thank you emystar :)

THough it's been a few weeks now, it still hurts like crap. Amazing how high one can soar when feelings things, just to crash and burn for a while.

This is a truly beautiful poem. Poetry really is an excellent way to process emotion. Please keep writing :)
