Why do I hug a pillow and wish it were you instead?
Why does your scent follow me around?
Why is your voice my favorite song?
And why am I so unsure?
Why did you want me so bad when you couldn't have me, and now that you have me, you don't seem to want me as much?
Why do I feel threatened by every other girl?
Why do I feel like the luckiest person in the world and at the same time feel like it's all an act?
But why are you so perfect?
And how did I ever deserve you?
Why do your eyes bring out the best in me?
Why does my finger so easily glide to your numbers on the phone?
But why are they on my mind when I should be thinking about you but you are the only one I think about in bed?
Why do I do the things I do just because of you?
Why do I feel so lonely even though I have it all?
And why have you been the only one, although I won't admit it,
Who has ever made me think so hard and come up with nothing,
Be so jealous over things I shouldn't care about,
Wait so long for you to be there when I don't even want you,
And still capture my heart in the end?
