The design becomes unstable and becomes itself over and over again
The pattern multiplied again and again, forward to the beginning
Each notion of enlightenment as convoluted as the question
It all washes away with daybreaks and deep dives,
Complicated notions of simplicity
Bring confusion
And calm
Until reality breaks
And washes back into the sea
No land in sight, the sway pulls back
Every wave, every cloud, a paranoid mirage
The lie, sewn into every seam, the siren's song deafening
Close your eyes and trust the wind... the fog rolls in thick and clarity grabs hold
The design becomes unstable and becomes itself over and over again
A self sustaining cycle as convoluted as the question
But it washes away with daybreak and deep dives
Days of peace and days of storms
Rise up and fall down
The reliable sway
And calm

I can't pretend to know the meaning of your poem but I will venture a guess because
I find it very interesting. Is this about a cycle
of death and rebirth. Calm I take it is death
and the other lines of course come to the
height of their cycle and start to degenerate.
Is this an analogy of life as compared to
a wave? Maybe I'm way off. haha. Still
it is very interesting. A thought provoking
trip. Truly , Doug |
