Grief
|
There was a man who was utterly broken.
He had nothing left upon this earth.
just a pile of rubble as lifes cruel token
he even cursed the day of his birth
He cried:
All hope is lost.
All hell is free.
Theres nothing I can do
just let me be.
Nothings left.
My life is gone.
I'm stuck in a hole
and can't move on.
I'm stuck in a hole
and can't move on
There was a lady who had a son.
but the cruel world stole him away.
He blew his brains out with a shotgun.
on his twenty-fifth birthday.
She said
I've lost it all.
My only son.
I have nothing.
My life is done.
I'm a widow.
I'm all alone.
how can I be happy?
when pain's all I've known.
How can I be happy
when pain's all I've known.
So one day they both walked to the beach.
They both were lost and crying too.
Two lost souls found each other in reach.
They consoled each other and started anew.
They said:
We were lost
without a hope.
Surrounded by darkness
on a slippery slope
But we find light
in each others eyes
and we'll comfort each other
until one of us dies.
And we'll comfort each other
until one of us dies.
