I Will Remember You
~
Like a leaf floating in the wind,
You come to me time and time again.
Your memory is frozen in time,
Held delicately in the back of my mind.
I will remember you!
~
Like a wave on an ocean shore,
I drown within forever more.
My heart will never let you go,
Because I loved you so.
I will remember you!
~
Like the hourglass of the hands of time,
You will always be mine.
Never to be taken or placed away,
Your spirit will live for another day.
I will remember you!
~
Like a tear that never dries,
You will always rain upon my eyes.
Your presence will be so bold,
My hand you will always hold.
I will remember you!
~
Like a flower that will never die,
Our love will reign on high.
Death cannot conquer love,
When it’s as pure as a dove.
I will remember you!

Hey first to comment on this awesome poem. I really like the...form...I guess of how it was written, makes me think of a girl that I was really close to but, things didnt work out. Very nice poem, hope to read more like it.
