In a moment the
world became still,
there was a lull
in the tumultuous,
bristling way we went
about things. With
a flash, it all
returned to normal,
but not exactly,
the leaves turned brown as
the ground grew white,
the sky opened up
with gray clouds threatening
the night. Instead of
a burning sun,
rains poured from
the heavens, winds
swirled on, in a circular motion.
The people are
restless, as chaos stirs
the prevalent commotion
as the salt is removed
from the expanding
ocean, used to manufacture
tears to heighten the sensation,
elevate fears, of reality,
subjected to distortion. During
this phase, all else is
forgotten, appointments enslave
the process of time production
and with the reduction
of resources, came panic,
then the destruction.
There were, however,
advantages to reconstruction
this urgent, and sudden
surge of everything human
flowed like humanity
on a sacred mission, as futility
became comical, flipped
a relief from the upright position.
