Not Just A Memory

Contributed by angel_eyes70 on Monday, 21st August 2006 @ 11:31:11 PM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

I find it hard to just let you go
Even though I know what we once had is only a memory now
You were my best friend
What happened?
What can I do to make it be more then just a memory?
I want it to be real
Not a memory that is fading away.
All the games we played together,
And all the night in, and nights outs.
I miss our friendship
It is gone
Its lacking
I need it!
You are the only one I used go to
I don’t know if I can still do that
I try so hard to fix it
Can it be fix?
There will always be a scar in my heart
Caused from our “friendship”
I will love you forever and ever
My eyes are sore from too much crying
I cry over my lost friendship

I like it. I also have a friend with who I used to do everything but now I rarely talk to her. I moved on, she moved on. We both live a different live now, But we always will be there for eachother. So your friendship doesn't have to end, just make sure she ca count on you when she needs you, try to talk to her more, do things togheter.

How ironical i'm reading this poem after i just pm'ed you with my situation, you nailed it with this poem about friendship love and just how much people hurt another person when they come into your life to basicaly use you and then throw you away and not even give it a thought. your writting is beautiful so filled with emotions that seem so innocent and just want to know the why's of everything. You
keep writting also and i'll keep reading your lovely work wheather it be sad or joyful. i'm positive it'll be good writting. best to you .

Ben
