|
A girl alone has taken a stand,
Her life on the line for her man.
She'd do anything for hime,
She proves as the light grows dim.
Her other half is there beside her,
Wishing things could go back to the way they were.
She takes his hand and looks in his eyes,
She holds him close while he crys.
She says that everything will be okay
But he knows she won't live another day.
He stays beside her until she's gone
And heads for home a little after one
As he walks he thinks of her face
And remembers the feeling of her embrace.
This is a tale of love caught by fate
Learn to love before it's too late.
