Oh, my razor, my dearest blade,
Who loves me every night and day.
You are my queen, you beautiful thing.
You give me voice where I cannot sing.
So forbidden, they're just afraid:
We're symbiotic, our love unswayed.
The only one that never hurts me,
You make me deaf and unable to see.
You shield me from all and any pain,
Never asking questions of if I am sane.
I feel so pure, connected to you,
But they just want to break us in two.
Oh, my razor, my dearest blade,
For eleven years in love we've stayed.

i hate having to call this poem beautiful, but that's what it is. it's as sweet as to any lover, and as bitter as with any love. brilliant.

ps. in one of my poems there was a phrase, "don't call the blade your only friend, it's your enemy, that never did anything to you but you abused anyway." but it seems pointless to give it to you because you obviously know what you're doing....so..good luck. |
