They say Love is blind
And Ignorance bliss
And Deception holds truest
In all things to this
What is young love
Without some form of deceit?
And what are my words
If not unveiled by Defeat?
And what have you said
That was entirely true?
And what of this longing
In me to trust you?
And what haven't I told you
That's meant so much more?
And makes these feelings
Much stronger than before?
A heart that believes
That I've nothing to lose
And a mind that refuses
To think I could choose
Between this love and waiting
For something unknown
The choice if I had one
To hence call my own
Too obvious it seems
Would to then be with you
But I'm left with no choice
'Cause you won't follow through

Very true on many standpoints. Love and ignorance can both be the same in some situations. Great poem.
