Everyday like another
They make me miss my baby brother
And I walk through this world like a dream
Smiling just to cover all the confusion, it would seem
I know the sky is beautiful, I can feel it in my soul
And my life swirls in images, so close to out of control
But, I muster
All my strength into a cluster
Not with fists of fire or words of steel
But with a disturbing sense, one that they can really feel
So calm, like an ocean on a satisfying day
With a path blocked and simply choosing another way
My energy around me, locked in on something I cannot see
I am so excited about this moment, whatever it may be
You are still my brainstorm, a tempest full of beauty
I can see you smiling, remembering what you said to me
Grateful am I that I remain so safe
In a difficult but immensely beautiful place
I will never understand you, but I am always going to wonder why
Why looking straight ahead doesn't compare with staring at the sky
I love you even when you lack your luster
You are beautiful with all the energy I can muster
