There was a blind man,
he dreamt of open skies,
so blue,
one could see them with closed eyes.
There was a man who could not hear,
he dreamt of a musical orchestra,
mellow and deep,
like the phantom of the opera.
There was a man who could not smell,
he dreamt of a heavenly fragrance,
so strong,
even bees became overwhelmed in its presence.
There was a man who could not taste,
he dreamt of dark chocolate,
so sweet,
his mouth watered thinking about it.
There was a man who could not feel,
he dreamt of an eternal love,
so warm,
he could feel it in this life and the next above.
There was even a man who died,
but he dreamt memories,
living life fully,
let him rest in ease.
There was a man who lived,
but he dreamt of nothing in life,
and because of this;
he will never see life beyond the dull,
nor hear the music from the soul,
he will never smell the beauty of a flower,
nor taste the sweetest sour,
he will never feel eternal bliss,
nor will he ever have a happy day to reminisce.
So in the end he will be the only one in strife.

| I liked it I've never heard of a man who couldn't taste but I'm sure it's possible. I have heard of the rest (I personally can't smell, lol). It has a beautiful concept. A poem for dreamers. |

you have a writing style simular to mine when i first started writing dark
but you keep writing and you will see that some more happy poems will begin to come out
