Murder Me!
You spoke such beauty in the words you said
Forever & always those were the words
I thought this would last for eternity
I never knew forever came this quick
Now it is clear I was so blind
Your worthless to me just a waste of my time
So burn & choke on your lies
You were so perfect but now you’re stained
And when the sun rises you start over
Not this time, not tonight
No longer will you commit these sins
I won’t let you
Die! You *****, for what you did
I’ll strangle the beauty from your eyes
Die! You *****, you killed me
Now together in death forever we’ll be

I liked the theme, but I think you could make this even stronger than it already is. I liked the last 2 lines most.

This is a really powerful poem. It expresses a lot of emotions you feel when you're in this kind of situation: Anger, frustration, and sadness. Great Job! |
