Can You Remember When

Contributed by candysears on Wednesday, 16th August 2006 @ 10:01:30 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Can you remember when?
We sit on the hot tin roof
With the sun glare,
Blinding it seemed...
People busy as a bug, walking
Back and forth,
Down beneath the hot tin
Roof
As we looked down below
Peoples busy as a bug,
Tapping their feet on the
Pavement as they walked up
And down…
As busy as a bug...
Can you remember when?
We dine…
On bologna sandwiches
And white grapes..
And drink grape kool-aid
For wine,
Can you remember when?
We sit on the hot tin roof
As the when blew..
And caused a body chill
As we sit on top of the
Hot tin roof..
That was oh so grand
As we looked down
Below…
With the sun glare..
The bakery beneath
Cooking bread and sweet
Treats...
The aroma burst through
The wind as it blew…
Fillin the air with such
Pleasing aroma was so
Delightful...
Seem to stop at out noses
On top of the hot tin
Roof..
Since long pass away
Can you remember when?
