With ears up and head cocked
She looks at me in awe
Wondering what I'm up to
And why I've been gone so long.
She's got her nub a wagging
In happiness and glee
And I know whatever happens
She'll be happy to see me.
She may be tiny and
She may be bad sometimes
But she thinks she is a big dog
and an angel all the time.

this was beautiful!! reminds me of my cousin's little pup Snowy...so playful and mischievous. He gets sooooo excited when he has people to play with! my parents disapprove of animals...I'd probably get a zillion pets if i was allowed to!!!! :)) thanx for sharing this vivid poem with me. Bailey sounds like a treasure. *grins*
