Last Day

Contributed by Jyssvw22 on Monday, 14th August 2006 @ 10:47:14 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Let me take you home
And place you softly in my bed

Let me hold you until tomorrow
Hold you like you have never been held

Let me accept
Some of the weight off of your burden

Talk to you with words, which have never been given
A touch of heaven

Let me relieve
Some of this tension that is bringing you down

Watch me hold you
In my arms as I stare at your smile

This is our last day together
This is our last walk together

Make me a part of your life
Even if the part is small

Make me important to your plans
A central figure in your love story

Let me kiss you on your lips
As your hand ruffles through my hair

Your hands on the back of my neck
Slowly sinking

Talk to me like you care about what I am thinking
Your thoughts are important to me
More important then my own

I miss you already
And you haven’t even left

Your still here
Still in my heart

You haven’t left
But you will
