Confused Clarity

The tinderbox snap of the strings inside
The discovery of a Web of deceit and lies
The silence is loud, as the clock ticks on
Planting the rhythm, the beat for the song
Back and forth, my mind searches on
What is the meaning, and where has it gone?
More do I search, less have I found,
The circles have corners, the squares are all round.
The hourglass runs backward
Though in fact it has shattered.
The child sits and quivers, her eyes dark and wide
Covered in blood spats, trying to hide.
Tangled in this knot, this web full of strife
I need to get it ordered, and sort out my life.

That has familiar sounds, and feels to it. I can so totally relate. Oxymoron, juxstapositioning, of time, space and objects as seen through the lens that peers into my life. Another awesome write !!
