Some did write,
Elongated lines,
About the man,
Who sat unrefined,
Maddened some said,
By weeks at a time,
Of no sleep and no dreams,
No release for his mind,
Once he’d been great,
His deeds known to all,
But one fateful night,
Did he take a great fall,
He had a dream so vivid,
Some thought it a vision,
Through a serial killer’s eyes,
As he concluded his mission,
The hero became frightful,
Of ever closing his eyes,
So he stayed awake for weeks,
Blacking out at sunrise,
There he lingered,
In the hospital for loons,
Until once again he was called for,
And not a moment too soon.
