Mist of love

Contributed by ManInTheMask on Friday, 11th August 2006 @ 01:49:27 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I smile as I drift away thinking of you.
Turning even the darkest sky to a luscious Blue.
The sweetest thoughts begin to fill my head.
Like a burning passion of fire, the deepest red.

My mind lost in this endless bliss.
Trying to find you threw love’s blinding mist.
I see your smile and all becomes clear.
My heart torn far away but feels your love oh so near.

Not letting the fact I miss you pull me under.
Though my heart is screaming like a crash of thunder.
I try to calm my self even though it’s so hard.
Maybe a love so deep will truly leave me scarred.

Never denying myself a truly precious thing.
Even at the cost that there maybe be a distant sting.
A dreamer, risking maybe too much.
Yet I feel so safe in loves gentle touch.

This is so lovely. It has a lot of sentiment, and also some sadness. I can relate to this. It was a really enjoyable read. Sue x

It is always good to find individuals who take the time to ignore work work work, and pause to embrace a long thought.
