My first

My first

In tears I sit and stare at these yellow walls, my daily gaze, they have come to be
To turn my gaze down, tears reach the notebook of which my companion it has come to be,
Part of my nightly schedule, the tears have come to be,
Your tears,
The tears for my first which has led to my first -
Poem

I know it does not make sense
But what else makes sense
When it seems my world has come to crumble before my senses,
For within me, do I still have the senses?
At least for my first, I can write my first
Poem

Young was I when I met you
Young not only in my days on earth, but also, in love
Young not only for you but for our love
Young enough to be not capable of hurting
But now, no longer young, I seem to have lost the grace, and the senses
Only one sense yet awakened,
Writing for my first, the first
Poem

Does love reach a point where it ceases to live?
Does the strong feeling that I used to feel in your hug cease to live?
Does that watery look that I used to get from your penetrating gaze remember its footprints in my heart?
Does your heart know that I miss your warmth?
Does it sometimes take you back to memory lane?
Does it bring reminiscences of how you used to find comfort in my arms?
Does it say how we never used to want to be apart?
Does your heart which I so long for now reach out for mine?
Does it tell you of the sacrifices made?
Sacrifices not because I was able, but because you made it possible
Sacrifices because only you were worth, my first then, now my
Poem

Tell me,
Do you still have that sense of love?
Do you still long to be with me, to hold on to me like the stars hold onto a black sky,

Tell me,
Are you still my first,
Because in my heart you are still my first,
That I have written this,
My first poem….
For you my first love!
