When we all became numbers
It began to all be over
Holding what little is left together
Takes talent
Its maternal instinct
Put the children first
Do more good then bad
A cease-fire of spirits
Will do little to disarm
Potential foes
A house of worship
Is put out in smoke
They sit in the same spots
With the same dumb stares
Call them the have-nots
But its you with all the cares
To be a servant and never complain
To be righteous, certain, purified
Beyond clean, unclaimed
Repetition requires a wasting of the words
A lifting up of the flight of the birds
Among the common herd
With a propelled enthusiasm
Compelled to act
A trail of dust
Meant to spark and erupt
Mix and combust
Invading the trust
Of the faithful us
The days are grueling
When they should be
Anything but that
Lackadaisically fat
Energy depleted
To an empty batch
An empty home
A lonely rat
Seeks to combat
Snapping traps
Lined with cheese
Served with ease
On a platter of disease
What matters is only
Whatever they please
When ever they need
To feel complete
To regain their momentum
Pick up in warped speed
Dwarfed is their miniature breed
A minor inconvenience
Costing lives
Making us bleed
Shedding our tears
Harping on developed fears
Playing to the darkest moments
The difficulty is within remaining calm at all times
Intriguing offers form opinions later to be confirmed as lies
Exclusivity keeps sensitive knowledge behind sealed cases
Rub it in our faces-
We won’t die

I fully understand the spacing, as an affect of use-
and admire it as well.. it compells the competent reader to digest and comrehend the write, entirely.. it's called, syntax
that being said, I enjoyed this as an ode to parents and authorities everywhere~
..though they know everything.. don't they - lol
