inside these walls
a little person lives
tiny and small
waiting for her lover to call
looks at life through
micro eyes
clouded over by time
whistles and skips when so inclined
pouts and frowns
when feeling a loss
of substance
her love is not little
he is full of life and love
brilliance and intelligence
he peeks in the mouse hole
to see where the little lady went
she is shivering in the corner
crying to herself
for no reason
at all
