LoveRemembered

You've spoken your mind and I get it now,
Please don't repeat it again just listen Cory,
It's only fair to hear me out and let me speak,
Just let me express myself and my story.
I'm ashamed to admit that you've cross my mind,
More than I would like you to,
You don't seem to care anymore,
And I can't seem to forget you.
I've beg God to help me or make me forget,
But it just hasn't seemed to work,
I know I shouldn't still love you,
I shouldn't still care because you're a jerk.
I'm so lonely that I toss and turn,
I haven't had a full nights sleep for awhile,
You need to just get out of my head,
But how can I let go when I can't forget your smile.
I'm so sick of this and sick of wishing,
This has gone too far and it needs to end,
I need to get over and move on,
You're over it and you've already got a girlfriend.
What is wrong with me? I think to myself,
Why am I still thinking of how it used to be?
When will this end? When will it stop?
Why do I still wonder if you still love me?
So now you've heard my side,
And I've told you how I still feel,
Will you answer me this...
Were you're feelings back then real?
I still love you and still think of you,
Yes I admit it finally now that's my story,
I'm trying to forget memories, past memories,
I'm trying to erase your name and face Cory.

I hope you will gain the strength to forget and move on. This is a great poem! |
