I KNEW HE COULD NEVER LOVE ME
BEFORE HE KNEW IT HIMSELF
BUT FOR AWHILE I THOUGHT HE DID
MAYBE FOR AWHILE HIS LOVE WAS TRUE
BUT TOO SOON HE LOST HIS TRUST FOR ME
THOUGH WHY HE DID I HAVE NO CLUE
SURE IVE MADE MISTAKES
BUT MISTAKES ARE DIFFERENT THEN LIES
I DON’T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THIS
IT’S TRULLY KILLING ME INSIDE
I BROKE MY OWN RULE
I INVESTED TOO MUCH EMOTION
TOO SOON
BUT HATE HIM I NEVER WILL
NOR WILL I EVER BLAME HIM
IT’S ALL MY FAULT
I GOT TO WRAPED UP IN MY LOVE FOR HIM
I DENIED MYSELF THE INEVIDABLE TRUTH
I JUST HOPE HIS LIFE IS HAPPY
AND THAT HE FINDS SOMEONE WHO DESERVES HIM

I definitely feel with you hon, but u can't go on blaming urself. Love is a tricky business and i'm sure if u can hang in there and get over thinking that it's all ur fault you'll find someone who is truely worthy of your love. Take care and great poem
