Please give me a reason
give me just a smile
give me just a glimmer
to make this more worthwile
i hear you on the telephone
i listen to your voice
i try and picture your sweet face
but to love is not my choice
i wish i could be with you
in everything you do
but never did i ever think
that our love was up for review
i'll tell you now i'm struggling
to try and find a meaning
you say that it'll all work out
i believe but feel i'm dreaming
so slowly i will sink below
and take your face from mind
i'll think of you so fondly
of the love i left behind
so you can never worry
never try and help my cause
so now i have messed up again
just wait for lifes applause
i am not saying its over
never away for good
just telling you to walk if you must
before i spill your blood
so never will your heart break
your feelings stay intact
and i can love you from far away
and you can live your life
without being sidetracked

love you always xxxx
