The Old Hag (questions and answers)

The Old Hag

The old hag was a sight to see,
As ugly a face as there could be,
Warts on her nose, and wrinkled skin,
Spots and dirt, and her eyes turned in,

Hump on her back, pointed chin,
Legs all bent ,toes turning in,
Arms all spindly, hands like claws,
Body misshapen,and thick set jaw,

The story is told ,she was cursed one day,
By the witch who lived on the hill,
But what happened to her, I do not know,
I am wondering about it still,

So if you can shed light,On the old hags plight,
And tell us why she looks this way,
We would like to hear, so make it quite clear,
Will she turn back to beautiful again

Through the Looking Glass

The old hag she was haunted,
By visions of the past,
Where life was cut down,
By the curse that was cast,

But curiosity did beckon,
Prompted by words of two mates,
That to cast out her demons,
She must not hesitate,

To search for the truth,
She knew that she must,
She searched out an item,
All covered in dust,

The looking glass though dirty,
Would reveal her reflection ,
So clean it she did,
Then looked in the mirrors direction

She saw just a woman,
As normal as can be,
Not an ugly old hag ,
She believed she would see,

The curse it was broken,
And now she could see,
For she had a special gift,
It was her personality,

So do not worry my friends,
Beauty is only skin deep,
For real beauty is found,
In your true self underneath.

I really like this! Just the format, and the rhyming, and the rhythm... you've outdone yourself! Brilliant, and true beauty is only skin deep... but gorgeousness on the outside helps! Wicked write, 2sdyx
