Deceptive but appropriate rain,
Camouflage for the tears,
Salty droplets of misery
Finding cheeks,
And my eyes glazed,
Watching,
And her standing there,
Face set in stone,
Doing what any mother
Should not have to.
The colourful floral assortments
Arranged as symbols
Of two lives lost.
Even they seem grey,
With a drop of rain,
A delicate tear for a petal.

God that's sad, no mother should ever have to bury her children, funerals are so difficult; you've hit the nail on the head when describing them though, this is an excellent, post, thank you for sharing, so sorry for the loss of your friend,
