She was ill for over a year.
She died just like I feared.
I held her hand as she died.
I fell apart and cried.
She gave birth to my offspring.
She used to walk around the house and sing.
But now there is silence and it makes me sad.
I've lost the will to live that I had.

I'm so glad it is fictional. I know how this feels, and you have explained it so well. Short and sweet, but packed with meaning and feeling. Sue x |
