Reach Out In Thought Word and deed
So many are suffering and are in need.
"That"s what Our dear Lord asks of us"
"Love thy Neighbour."
In this world of poverty war, and unrest
We as Christians should do our best
Reach out, to who, do not know of Gods Love
By our actions directed from Our Lord above
You may touch a heart By words written by you
The offer of friendship or a smile may even do
"That"s what Our dear Lords ask of us"
"Treat others as we would like to be treated"
We do not have to preach sermons to open a door
To show them the way, that there is much more
Friendship is love with understanding thats true
LOVE shown by our Lord , for me, and for you.
Words written, read , or spoken can be the way
To guide somebody new to hear the LORD say
"COME UNTO ME ALL YOU WHO SUFFER
AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST."
Please join me now as I bow my head and pray.
REMEMBER BY HELPING OTHERS WE ARE IN FACT HELPING OURSELVES..

A very beautiful and profound prayer poem and I just loved it.
There are so many ways of reaching out, the circumstances in life, the individual temperament and means often being so different may vary. And that is O.K.
It is the Lord alone that sees into the human heart and He sees every effort. and the good will that often is trod under the feet., if not even paralized.
Thank you Dough for sharing this beautiful prayer poem with us.
