MORE MEMORIES OF DAYS GONE BYE

Contributed by dougnut on Sunday, 6th August 2006 @ 04:08:40 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Just thinking of Mum and Dad at this time

some Good memories.
*******************

Memories of days gone bye

Mum making meat and potato pie

Dad playing piano for musical chairs

I was so happy with no worries no cares

We can"t turn back the clock I know

It"s great to have memories ...so

If only , and I wish ,I do sigh

Memories of days gone bye

Doug :-(

This is sad, but also full of memories. I lost my mum when I was pregnant and my dad when I was only 18. My husband died in 2003. I have also lost 5 other relatives since 2000, so the millenium wasn't the start of a time of joy.But memories help me through. Take care my friend, my thoughts are with you. Sue x

Remeber that the pain in your heart shall pass. But the memories will always last. By keeping memories of her close to your heart, is one way that you two will never be a part. Take care

You worded your heartfelt thoughts very clearly and beautifully. I had a Bible teacher tell me once, "The Word should be made so clear that even a child can understand." I always appreciate simplicity and clarity.
