Christmas time, it rolled around the calendar
The eve came on like I’d never seen it go
Christmas sign, a perfectly visible lie to follow
That explains with what it sees and what it shows
She slips a pill
Dear Joanna I hope you are well in England’s Frost
Because in this town I’m just lost
And for today I need you here
And we’d, we’d argue over time
And how things never work
And how I’m a ***** jerk
And she’d, she’d just deny me up and down
She didn’t want me around
She didn’t want me bound
Christmas time, presents under my fake plastic tree
That I connect with then loose interest in just as fast
Christmas line, the one to the market place’s entrance in windy ice
As we rub the mittens to ease the blast
She takes a nap
Dear Miss O’Neil you’re a childhood dream
I wish I’d known what you planned to scheme
But today I have you here
And lies, lies were all she told me, lies
And lies were all she could follow
And lies were what made her hallow
And fear; fear was all I could see
Fear was all that I could feel
Fear was all that still felt real
She slips a pill
She takes a nap
She commits suicide in my lap
Jingle bells ring and she slips a pill
She takes a nap
She commits suicide in my lap
And those jingle bells ring
Christmas time, it rolled around the calendar
The eve came on like I’d never seen it go
Christmas sign, a perfectly visible lie to follow
That explains with what it sees and what it shows
As she slips a pill
Takes a nap
Commits suicide in my lap
