The Rooms

There is this white room
Do you know what is in there?
White Ball and White Tea
Loneliness and Despair
White iron key opens the white iron gate
On the way in there is no line, to go out you have to wait.

There is this black room
Do you know what is in there?
Black Pitch and Shiny Sheet
Always relaxed, never aware.
Black leaden key opens Black leaden hatch
On the way in you fall down.
So many souls to catch.

There is this poison room
Do you know what is in there?
I don't know yet but you do.
Bottle. Gas. One chair.
It's a silent lake without a door
But you won't listen, you just drink up once more

I've been to all these rooms
Now I know what is in there.
Happiness in the first part,
in the end just longing stare.
That's all you became now, why wont you let me to help you up?
Do you know how much I've done for it? I'm sure you do.

I thought this poem was brilliant till the last stanza.
They say that what we find wrong with other peoples work is normally what we tend to do ourselves for me this is compleatly true. I sometimes end up tainting a poem by trying too hard to make it end. Apart from that it definatley caught my attention. But then again. You shouldn probably just ignore me. :D

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
