Stolen Innocence.

Contributed by JordonsBaby17 on Monday, 31st July 2006 @ 10:35:11 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

A little girl, 6 maybe 7.
Bouncing into the kitchen,
Goes around the table to the far side.
He picks me up,
Sits me on his knee,
He puts his hand in my pants,
He says, "It's ok." I believed him.
The first night afterwards, I couldn't sleep,
He stood in the doorway watching me,
How long must you do this, I thought.
You made me sit in your lap everytime,
No one wanted to see, or maybe they really couldn't.
You forced your way into my innocence.
I wonder how many more had to suffer, or was I the only?
I hope I was the only one. No one else would have survived.
I never cried, or screamed. I was too dead from what you did.
You were a horrid man, awful hands that hurt me so.
You were punished though. You fell ill. I was happy.
I could have cared less about being around you.
But my Daddy said I should go. So, I went.
I saw you die, I buried my face in my Daddy's arms.
I wasn't crying though. I was smiling. I knew you couldn't hurt me anymore.
A little bit bigger girl, 9 maybe 10.
Bouncing into the kitchen,
Goes around the table to the far side,
And I know It's over.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I understand your pain. Good job writing this and hopefully writing about it will be good therapy.
