It Is Done

Contributed by Nazmythian on Monday, 31st July 2006 @ 10:27:52 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

It is done
They are gone
I must move on

I could cry
I could laugh
Truth is, I have

-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-

I could attempt to point a finger
Try my best to place the blame
Tell me then, what would it matter
This will still remain the same

I could easily speak in anger
Or fall deep into despair
I could wallow in self pity
Feed frustration to the air

While to some it seems expected
I expect it not of me
For it truly serves no purpose
It fulfills no useful need

-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-

I could brood
I could scream
What would it mean

It is done
They are gone
I must move on

I can't even begin to imagine what you must be going through. I do, however, know this, I have a great respect for you.

This poem though? Flawlessly superb!!!

As one of my best friends would say, make sure you take care of you.

Really, take care of yourself.

Tim

A flawless poem of deep emotion and thought. I admire your strength, in times of pain and turmoil it is very easy to fall into a dark place. You havent done this. You have kept a sense of humor and a strong sense of being thoughout this time. I do understand these feeling more than you would realise.
Huge hugs

Michelle

PS taking baby steps leads to taking on the mountain and reaching the top my friend!

A great take on your recent trauma and reconciling the loss, stretched into a poem for a wider bereavment.

Scott ..

*falls into a momentary silence*

I'm so sorry I missed this one .. I am awe-struck. Not just
by your talent but the audacity and fortitude you possess with
which to display your "gift". I cannot begin to understand the
dynamics of your last few weeks or the process by which
you are getting through them .. but I can tell you this .. I both
admire and respect you immensely.

Love and strength to you, hun.
