My lovely, lovely rose
Autumns on its’ way,
Feel the coolness in the air-
The rain, its’ soon to come
And spoil our delicate clothes.
Be weary not of this garden
We’ve had a wonderful life,
Let harsh winds scatter our petals
And cut us down like a knife.
My lovely, lovely sweet maroon
When you hear that last bell chime,
And just before night shows the moon
My bittersweet flower-
No longer will we be grieving,
For soon when comes the hour-
Praises be, our joy-de-light
Is waiting in our new yard,
To kiss us both good night!
