Don’t you see the beaches?
They’re flowerless and bold,
Beyond the grass lay the mass,
Steadily untold,
Of the beauty beyond their eyes,
And never will they know,
For the explorer’s dead and the leader said,
“Beyond our borders none shall roam”,
So stay here quiet in your peace,
And wait out the day,
When the leader dies and minds do fly,
In extraordinary ways.
