Athiest No More

Contributed by The_Unknown on Monday, 31st July 2006 @ 11:47:46 AM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

Recently I've come to believe
in Him
I may not read the bible or go to church
But I believe now

Even though in rough times
it seems I was alone
now I know
I am never alone

recent happenings
and wise words said
have lead me to believe

even though the pressure is still on
to not believe
I still believe

I have been through a lot
and I know now
he was by my side
how else would I have survived?

I now know
It may seem he's not there
but he is
As long as you let him in
he will always be in your heart

I was THRILLED to read this poem!! God is ALWAYS there. It is our hardened hearts that try to push Him away, but He will NEVER leave us. Never. :) Wonderful poem. It has put a smile on my face and for this, I thank you :)
