SHE FLIES

Contributed by Adelle on Monday, 31st July 2006 @ 09:42:24 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

She saw a vision
and there, taking upon
her dream to fly
she reaches for the sky
seeing the things
of what she set out for, brings
not wanting to fly for wind or height
nor for freedom or sight
but for the fear of pain,
as she flies through the rain
conquering those fears
and overcoming her tears
while flying high
closer to God, in the sky
she flies for joy and happiness
with breaths effortless
with replenished oxygen
feeding more life to her bosom
she flies through the storms
of the darkened rain clouds formed
over head and underneath
surrounding, pressing, burdening
she flies for victory
to keep attached, her wings
she flies for beauty
through the thunder and lightening
shaking her and blinding
but she still flies soaring
for effortless breaths
purified in richness
wanting to become higher& stronger than before
more free and unchained to soar
to fly with the eagles
of Gods pure wings celestials
his pure friends in closeness
for she wants to fly with eagles in perfectness
to take her to the touch of Gods breath
so she might feel the lift
of Gods breath through her lungs
like the wind and happiness of the sun
a glowing life of lifted freedom
from flying from high within
