Our World

Contributed by lillyjane on Monday, 31st July 2006 @ 02:23:31 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Some people say the world is cruel,
who ever thinks this is a fool,
the world does not want us to cry,
the world does not want us to die,

The world does not want war and pain.
its up to mankind the world to regain,
God gave us this world to live in peace,
so only do good, then good vibes your release,

when the world began it was a garden of Eden,
Man is destoying it . man is the reason,
I can almost hear the world sighing,
sometimes I think God must be crying,

Yes the world has been corrupted by mans greed and ignorance. One day we all might realise. Fantastic poem, with good meaning and intentions. It makes you think. Sue x

A brilliant little gem here lillyjane. It will be man who will have to put it all back together again, whatever mess we make it will be us who have to clear it up! Your right, it's not the world that's bad and that's why we will never be able to destroy it we are just destroying ourselves. The world will be here forever, just hope that man will always be able to live on it!
