For The Sake Of Dreaming

You make me dream
Of moments where I
look into your eyes
And see beauty arise,
Like a cyclone
embracing the still sea
It’s only you and me
And not what could be
But what should be
So - For the sake of dreaming
Let me keep this feeling
My only friend
Through these lonesome evenings,
No more searching dead ends
Happiness is where it all ends!

And out there
you’re wavering
all but lifeless
Like the swans in the air
Motionless and timeless
Trying to keep track
Of every guy in your sight
But is guess
We all gotta love sometime, right?
So - For the sake of dreaming
Let me keep this feeling
My only friend
Through these lonesome evenings,
No more searching dead ends
Happiness is where it all ends!
