.
Gifted with talents
blessed with grace
bloomed with freshness
but,
shell shattered by race.
Sorrow of life - painful
arcane trace of tears
reddened eyes
in drunken state,
is this you call life?
Bloomed meadow’s blossoms;
meek crawling warms,
tine birds that glide high
- life so short, yet blissful
and blasé.
A walk down the memory
lane
life, a bitter dreadful dream
scared, yet non near
hazy destiny unclear,
Waves of suffering,
drowned dreams,
marooned future,
sorrow to the brim.
life so painful; yet linger my blemished-soul
to thee ‘o’ Lord, so hopeful, so dear.
FRANCO.

I love this ‘intricately profound and straightforward muse.’ Thank you for sharing, Franco.

Franco,
This poem cuts to the heart of suffering and the pain thereof. You expressed the conflict of life's suffering and its effect on the heart and soul.
Blessings and love,
Linda Mary |
