He Still Move Me

Contributed by Lilly-Quill on Friday, 28th July 2006 @ 12:11:46 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Enticingly slow, but every so gently, his words are a dance.
How strangely he moves me as no other, with pain’s stance.
So I’ve moved on, taken it to the next lever; just not with him.
He still writes about me, as if my sweet spirit revisits him again.

Strange how love evades, and charades, and shuffles the game.
To him I’m a special mystery; while I frown on his methods vain.
Focused I moved on, leaving him; as they say- come what may.
At last I no longer cry at noon, or night, or the middle of the day.

Even though, Father has a new plans, for destiny's true liberty.
And now in my dreams there’s one who's intent on courting me.
Still, as if sweet music drifts by, I’m slowly drawn to the other.
I wish him whole; if only he’d come to God’s Table, like a brother.

Wow, I really liked this one! It's got some great lines, one of which is:

Strange how love evades, and charades, and shuffles the game.

Great job!

Be well,
Loende
