I've never seen
So much lighteninh before
Illuminating the sky
And revealing to me the clouds
Which are obscuring the stars
From my view
Heavy rain falls
Bouncing off the ground below
Running down my face
Mixing with my tears
And yet, as I stand here
Watching this thing of beauty
The white light
Tearing a hole through the sky
I hear the growl of the storm
Feel thing wind press agianst me
Laughing at my weakness
