It’s after midnight on your street
I find it hard to keep my feet
But all that I can do is stare
And wonder what I’m doing here
My silent vigil at your door
A place that I have stood before
It’s better to be looking in
Than sitting home and wondering
What you’d say, what you’d do
I know that I’m too low for you
You don’t give me a single glance
And I hold no hope of true romance
This cruel mind of tricks and dreams
Does lay on me the hurtful scenes
Of futures that will never pass
I choke back tears in quiet gasps
Though most say love’s a kind of torture
It’s one-sided love that hurts you further
But I want nothing more than this
Knowing, fully, what the price is

It's not weak at all, I enjoyed it, nice rhyme scheme, good flow, and yes, unrequited love really does hurt the most, as many of us (far too many if you ask me) already know!
