Hate & Fear

Contributed by Morphine on Saturday, 22nd July 2006 @ 10:41:19 PM in AEST
Topic: hbadday

Drowning in the hate and fear I come to see
What I see, what you call “truths” isn’t meant to be
Stop playing games with my mind, its getting old now
Your words seduce me and hold me down

Wrapping its arms around me pulling me deeper
Into the abyss that lies before me

I don’t know whether to believe if your words are true
But the loving words for me are long over-due
I cannot describe the way you make me feel inside
But I’m being ripped in two and coming untied

I don’t know whether if you’re a good friend or maybe more
But I cant take waging this war
I’ll be moving soon, and you’ll want to stay back
These feelings are getting too overstacked…

Why does stuff never go the way I want
Why cant I just see my future up front?
I just wanted a simple thing to go right for me..
Someone with a life and knows what they want to be

Your kind ways and bright smile made me fall for you
Brought me down and made my knees weak
Broke me down, and now theres no coming back

My chance was there, but now is gone
My nerves got the best of me
Now I sit here alone
Now I sit here drowning in hate and fear
